CNC milling
Three-, four- and five-axis machining centres for brackets, housings, manifolds, fixture plates and pocketed parts. Most five-sided parts are finished in one set-up.

Steeltown Precision is a CNC machine shop in Hamilton, Ontario. We mill and turn aluminum, steel, stainless, brass and engineering plastics, from a single prototype to repeat production runs, and we measure the first part against your drawing before the batch runs.

02What we machine±0.025 mm
Most parts we make need both: a turned body with milled flats, or a milled plate with a bored and reamed seat. Both happen under one roof, so one programmer owns your part from the first cut to the final report.

We keep common stock on the rack: 6061-T6 aluminum, 1018 and 4140 steel, 304 and 316 stainless and acetal. Everything else is bought to order for your job, with mill test certificates when your customer asks for them. Not sure which grade to use? Tell us what the part does and we will suggest two options with the price difference.
Compare all materials04RoutingOP 10–50
Every job gets a traveller: the routing card that moves with your parts through the shop. This is what is on it.
Send a STEP, DXF or PDF. A programmer reads it the same day and flags anything that adds cost without adding function: a tolerance tighter than the fit needs, a deep pocket with sharp inside corners, a thread size nobody stocks a tap for.
Unit price at your quantities, material, finish, inspection level and lead time, in Canadian dollars. Repeat orders keep the same program and the same price until the material cost changes.
CAM programming, workholding, then one part measured in full against your drawing. On new work you can approve the first article before the batch runs.
The batch runs with in-process checks at set intervals, recorded on the traveller so any part can be traced back to its machine, operator and measurements.
Deburring, outside finishing, packing that protects machined faces, and delivery around Hamilton and Halton or by courier across Canada and to the US.
05Industries4 sectors
We do not chase one industry. We make the parts that keep equipment running, for the people who maintain it and the engineers who design it.
Fixture details, locating pins, gauges and end-of-arm tooling for plants that cannot wait for a part.
Shafts, bushings, hydraulic fittings and replacement parts for equipment older than its parts catalogue.
Stainless and food-grade plastic change parts, guides and star wheels with smooth, cleanable finishes.
Flanges, valve parts, pump shafts and test fixtures with heat numbers and material certificates kept on file.
06Sample reviewsDemo
These are sample reviews written for this demo website. A real shop shows its own, with each customer's permission.
“The drawing had a ±0.005 on a face that only clears a cover. They called, asked what it mated with, and the price dropped once we opened it up.”
“A conveyor shaft snapped on a Thursday. We dropped off the broken pieces and had a new one in 316 on Monday, with the measurements written up.”
“First article report with every new part number, and the batch matched it. That is all I want from a supplier.”
Attach a STEP, DXF or PDF, tell us the quantity and the date you need the parts, and a programmer replies within two working days.
